Video Upload Troubleshooting Tips

 

1) It is best if you have the file name as all one word with no characters other than the letters and numbers. Some examples are:

my file name.flv (not the correct way)

myfilename.flv (the correct way)

MyFileName(2).wmv (not the correct way)

myfilename2.wmv (the correct way)

2) If your video uploads and does not show a thumbnail this means that it did not uploaded correctly. Please delete the video and re-upload it.

3) Once you click the "Next" button in the upload form, let the video load for however long it takes until it automatically loads a page that displays thumbnail choices for your video. If you do not let this page automatically load, your video will not upload correctly.

4) Make sure that spelling is correct before you submit your video. There's no way to a edit it once it is uploaded. The only option you have is to delete the video and re-upload it.
